dc.description.abstract | The study aimed to identify the level of psychological pressure among female workers in the Palestinian security institutions in the northern governorates and their relation with national affiliation, in addition to investigating the differences in each of them due to: age group, marital status, educational qualification, and military rank. The study used the descriptive correlative method by applying the two scales: the scale of psychological pressure with its fields (functional, social, economic, family, health), and the national affiliation scale, on a sample of 266 female workers in the Palestinian security institution in the northern governorates, were chosen in a simple random manner taking into consideration their distribution to the control study variables, which is 14% of the whole population. The results showed that the level of psychological pressure among female workers in the Palestinian security institutions was moderate, with an average of 3.23, where economic pressures were the highest, the job pressures were the lowest, and the level of national affiliation was high, with an average of 4.53. The results also showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) between the means of psychological pressure, it increase with age, become higher for married, divorced and widowed workers compared to singles, and rise with the rise of both the scientific and military rank among female workers in the Palestinian security establishment. The differences in the mean of national affiliation were sufficient to indicate the differences due to the control variables of the study. The results indicated that there is an inverse statistically significant correlation between the total degree of psychological pressure and its five fields and national affiliation, where the correlation coefficient was 0.407, and the results of the simple regression model showed that it is statistically significant, so that psychological stresses and their fields are a predictor of national affiliation among female workers in the Palestinian security institutions. The study recommended the need to provide targeted and specialized programs and activities to reduce the level of psychological pressure, especially in the economic aspect among female workers in the Palestinian security institution, and the reflection on their high level of national affiliation, and the study also recommended the introduction of variables related to age, social status, years of experience, and military rank in dealing with female workers while working to reduce their psychological pressure.
