| dc.description.abstract | The study aimed at the role of decision-making as a mediating variable in the relationship between knowledge management and crisis management in the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the southern governorates, by measuring the relationship and impact. The study used the descriptive and analytical approach to study the phenomenon and describe its nature and the quality of the relationship between its variables, causes and trends, and the study used a questionnaire tool to collect primary data, as the questionnaire tool was applied within the Palestinian Ministry of Health by targeting workers in the upper and middle management, as it represents the study population of (1100) employees , and the researcher used the stratified random sample, and (328) were recovered used for the purposes of analysis. The results of the study showed that the level of knowledge management in the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the southern governorates reached (76.11%), and this result is high. It also showed that the decision-making in the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the southern governorates reached as high as Its percentage is (68.37%) and this result is high. It also showed that the level of crisis management in the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the southern governorates reached(75.16%) As for the nature and strength of relationships ; The results showed that there is a statistically significant relationship at a significance level (α ≤ 0.05) between knowledge management and crisis management in the Palestinian Ministry of Health, and a statistically significant relationship at a significance level (α ≤ 0.05) between knowledge management and decision-making in the Ministry of Health. The existence of a statistically significant relationship at a significance level (α ≤ 0.05) between decision-making and crisis management in the Palestinian Ministry of Health in addition to a statistically significant effect at a level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between knowledge management and crisis management in light of decision-making in the Ministry of Health. It also showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the averages of the sample estimates about the study variables (decision-making, knowledge management, crisis management) in the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip due to variables: (gender, educational qualification) , Years of service, and job title).The study recommended the necessity of working on developing knowledge management processes and setting up mechanisms to help them be effective to raise the efficiency of administrative work as a whole in the Palestinian Ministry of Health. It also recommended strengthening training courses for the application of modern methods in the decision-making process and reviewing and defining the problem precisely and cautiously before proposing alternatives to the authorities concerned with the matter. Taking into account the scientific facts, avoiding clinging to a certain opinion and being biased towards it, and being flexible, in addition to the need to pay attention to providing the necessary financial and material support in everything related to crisis management in the Palestinian Ministry of Health. | |
