dc.description.abstractThe study aimed to identify the factors affecting the achievement of food security in Palestine, through the determinants of food security “food availability, access to food, use of food, and food stability.” The limitations of the study were represented in the objective limit that concerns about identifying the factors affecting the achievement of food security in Palestine, the spatial limit that limited on state of Palestine and the temporary limit that applied since the beginning of march. The study used the descriptive and analytical approach in order to describe the study variables, as it deals with the economic prospects of the factors affecting the achievement of food security in Palestine.111 The study targeted the Palestinian National Authority “the West Bank and Gaza Strip.” The Study variables were described by using statistical measures which are " arithmetic average, standard deviation and maximum and minimum values. In addition, this study also used the quantitative standard approach in order to determine the relationship between the independent variable “Food Security Indicator” and the dependent variable “Food Security”, as it used the same approach in building a multiple regression model by measuring the impact of food security indicators on achieving food security. This study used Microsoft excel program as it used statistical programs which are " SPSS. V25 and E-Views-10". The study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which is the presence of a high rate of food insecurity in Palestine, reaching 68% in the Gaza Strip and 11% in the West Bank, and the study also showed a positive impact for each of (Average value of food production, per capita GDP, value of food imports compared to total commodity exports. The study showed a negative effect of "The rate of poverty, prevalence of anemia among women of reproductive age 15-49 years and the political dependence and non-violence) in achieving food security. The study recommended the formulation of government policies to protect the rights of farmer and encourage investment in the agricultural sector, in order to increase the amount of production by developing a production map and organizing it based on consumption. as it recommended to focus on comprehensive rural development program and adopting new development approaches like agricultural clusters in northern and southern governorates, strengthen value chains and using modern technology to increase the amount of production
