| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to investigate to what extent the matrix of International Community-Based Rehabilitation (ICBR) has been applied, and its effect on the Institutional performance to those are working on disability in the Gaza Strip as a result of the increase number of persons with disability(PWDs) and the motivation of (NGOs) to mainstream the persons of disability in the process of planning and implementation of programs. To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher used analytical- descriptive approach.The study population consists of 175 employees (M and F) who are working in the 35 organizations selected according to special criteria. The researcher used the comprehensive survey method and distributed the questionnaire for the organizations of the study population, and yielded 161 questioners at 92%. The study has concluded that there is a relation between the matrix of ICBR and the performance of organizations working on disability sector, and the results showed effectiveness of application of ICBR for the components of health, social, and empowerment, however, components of education and livelihood are found with less effect. Also, it was showed that there isn’t a statistical significance for the variables of personality and positions (e.g. gender, age, academic qualifications, number of employees, location of organization, there I a statistical significance for the applying ICBR-M. According to the results of this study, it is recommended for NGOs working on disability to consider ICBR as a reference base that would be of help in their strategic planning and programs, and sustaining following up the application of ICBP in a regular-base process of coordination, as well as limiting the duplication of services, participation of PWDs in lobbying and advocacy campaigns, adaptation of information resources, so that PWDs have an access to different services with less cost and reachable. The study focused on the importance of following-up and control of international and national funding opportunities, conducting regular related- researches and studies, empowering persons with disability, as well as activating the role of media that focusing on the success stories. | en |
