Abstract
Non-verbal communication has become a basic type of the various aspects of our life. Also, it has become exactly as our verbal communication by using our tongue in the social, emotional, economical and political life. So, we can find many theories which study the origins of the beginnings of human language and verbal communication. These theories don't ignore the basic role of the human senses and the body language in supplement the verbal communication. We can find many linguistics and experts, who are interested in the human communication, have given a big deal to the vital role of the body organs in transmitting the meaning in the correct way. So, the body language and facial expressions can prove the truthiness or unreality of what we say, as when our faces turn to the red colour or feel shy when we say something. Hence, we can find an independent science with ifs experts and specialists in the field of the non-verbal human communication. This field was called "Kinesics" which deals with the language of the body organs and it has its own principles and rules. Human being has used the body hints and postures intensively, because they are very important in the social life and emotional communication so we can find many sympathy and a motional expressions sent by the non-verbal communications and were expressed more clearly than verbal communication. I studied the forms of non-verbal communication in the platonic poetry in AlOmaween era. That era was characterized with morality and keeping the Arabic-Islamic traditions and customs. So, the love was considered as something illegal and the poets couldn't express their feelings and sympathy to their lovers. That deprived them and formed as an obisticle to them, so they used the non-verbal communication and the language of the body to transmit their sympathy and feelings to their lovers. In this heritage of the Arabic poetry, especially the platonic and the licentious poetry, we can see the vital role of the body language and non-verbal communication which seems to be greater than the verbal one. Moreover, this kind of communication helped the deprived poets to express their feelings and succeeded in expressing the meanings and sympathy of the poet. Another fact is that the body language and non-verbal communication enabled the poets expressing their feelings to their lovers when the Jealous and talebearers were existent.
