Water resource management is a challenge in many in Palestine. Due to the political situation and climate change in an already challenging environment the agricultural sector is currently suffering from water scarcity. Improving water resource management and strengthening the local economy are crucial aspects for the development in the region. One way to reduce water use and increase harvest is to irrigate the right amount at the right time. In this way it is possible to minimise over irrigation and keep a good water level in the soil for the plant. The main goal is to improve water efficiency use and productivity.
