Abstract
Speaking skills are essential for academic success and professional communication, especially for EFL learners in higher education. However, Palestinian university students often face challenges such as limited exposure to real English interaction, insufficient speaking practice in classrooms, and lack of continuous feedback. Traditional teaching methods tend to focus more on reading and writing rather than speaking, which leads to low fluency and confidence.With the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence, especially Generative AI tools, new opportunities have emerged to support language learning. These tools provide interactive environments, immediate feedback, and flexible practice, which may help students overcome speaking difficulties.
