dc.description.abstractBackground: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic neurodegenerative disease characterized by the degeneration of myelin sheaths and activation of astrocytes and microglia. Recent studies suggest a potential link between neurotrauma, particularly head injuries, and MS development.
