The study aimed at recognizing the reality of crises management in the Palestinian civil defense as realized by the employees. The study’s population included the civil defense employees in the West Bank, the number of whom is 1200(males and females) distributed among 11 governorates. 240 questionnaires were distributed and 216 were received back, which is 20% of the study’s population. The used questionnaire has targeted the employees to gather the preliminary data, and their stability was verified. The stability’s percentage was 85% for early warning detection phase, 84% for the preparedness and prevention phase, 86% for containment of damages phase, 78% for confronting the crisis phase and 89% for the learning phase. The study has concluded that the reality of crises management in the Palestinian civil defense as realized by the employees is on high level. Also, the early detection phase, the preparedness and prevention phase, the preparedness and prevention phase, containment of damages phase, confronting the crisis phase and the learning phase in the Palestinian civil defense in the West Bank as realized by the employees came on high. The study also concluded that there are no differences in the sample’s answers about the crises management reality in the Palestinian civil defense as realized by the employees in light of the demographic variables (gender, job title, the nature of the work, the practical experience, specialization, academic qualification and the military rank). Upon the previous results, the researcher recommends that it is important to evaluate the crises management system through a specialized committee emanating from the Supreme Council for Civil Defense, headed by the civil defense . The committee is to make its recommendations to the council that transfers them to the government in order to be included within its developmental plans for overcoming the obstacles that face the civil defense. The researcher also recommended forming a technical committee by the civil defense with the participation of the specialized organizations from the partners to evaluate the crises’ impact, the response level, the coordination level, the extent of the success of plans and methods for addressing their effects. The recommendations also included that Ministry of Interior works on establishing advanced operating rooms that depend on geographic techniques, and that more workshops to be hold in the public places to increase the culture’s level in the civil society on the Palestinian civil defense science.en
