dc.description.abstractModern linguistics science takes interest in studying dialects, due to this kind of study helps the understand the nature of language clarifying its historic stages, the influence of environment and times in its sounds, morphology, syntax and semantic level. The studying of ancient Arab dialects is a very important subject in the modern Arab linguistic studies, in other words, its one of the unique scientific ways to depend on it to explore the Arab history and the stages of its development. This research is established on studying Arab dialects in the book of "Irtishaf AdDarb "from Lisan Al- Arab" for Abu Hayyan AL - Andalusiyy Who was one of the most famous linguists in the 8th Hijri century. His book contains differences and styles of dialects which kept part of our language for a long period of time in ancient times. The importance of this study comes to add a new study in Arab dialects for a great linguist. Therefore, modern studies study dialects in general, but neglecting the studying of dialects for every ancient linguist, a deep study for fine matters. This study is the first study – according to the knowledge of researcher – Which studies the different dialects in Ibi Hayyan's book "Irtishaf Ad- Darb from Lisan Al- Arab". The procedure Which is followed in this study is the descriptive inductive approach. So, the researcher studied the book of Ibu Hayyan AL - Andalusiyy Which contains different issues like sounds , morphology, syntax and semantic issues. The researcher follows the analytical procedure. After the researcher concludes dialectal, phonetical, morphology, grammatical and semantic matters, he classifies them. Conclusinos: Abu Hayyan was a unique person Who studied linquistics, he had distinguished thought, analytical procedure, discussed and evaluated texts. and he collected in this book " Irtishaf Ad- Darb" inheritance syntax Which is very important for every researcher in this matter. and There were multi ancient Arab dialect, in the book of " Irtishaf Ad- Darb", for multi different Arab tribes.en
