| dc.description.abstract | This study addresses the Narrative art of a palestinian auther and novelist called Gharib Asqalani, throughout the discovery of the properties and the pillars that formed the features of his art. Gharib Asqalani emerged on the Palestinian artistic scene after the issue of his first novel “The Ring“ on 1997 which reflected the pulse of the Palestinian people, leaked to the prisons and referred to the attention and admiration of prisoners. This research aims to show the position of writer among writers of his time, and his talent in writing the short story and the very short story through which he was considered as expert by the art critics who pointed to him. This study reviewed the emergence of the writer, his private and public environment, explaining the impact of his emergence in forming his elementary literature, and thereafter the reflection at his art. The research also studied the writer experience in real-life stories, in which the characters represent social ,national and human causes.I analyzed some stories. The study examined the contents of the stories which was thoroughly examined ,the contents show the Palestinian cause ,the nationalism and national concern and some of the social ,cultural and intellectuals issues . The study based on two methods: the descriptive and the analytical. It was clear the development in the writer style through his gradual production. One of the conclusions the study shows, was the common interest of the writer and his Palestinian colleagues to shed light on their Palestinian cause and support it, as a Just cause that need a lot of patience and stability on right. Gharib Asqlani showed Palestinian concern, focused on the suffering of the human especially the prisoners and the expatriates, letting his characters laugh and cry, reject, sympathize and suffer. It was his asylum trip that leave clear impact on the development of his narrative art and his style. At the end of this abstract I recommend the following -To guide the researchers to study the palestinian literature and shed light on the writers ,since those Authors are the shining face of the nation and work on its promotion. -To study the feminine contents in Gharib Asqalani narrative art widely which the writer give create care . Lastly the artistic treasures in the collections of the Asqalani was so huge and so rich of the artistic images and each and every story need a strenuous efforts to extract its treasures. | en |
