Abstract
This study aims at revealing the Clause and embedded and compound
sentences in Sourit Yousef , This study has two sides , the first one is the
theoretical one which depends on the linguistics openions towords the
compound and Clause.
The other side is the practical one which is interested in studying The
cases of Clause and compound ones ,and showing the types of negative,
positive and condetionals .
This study is important because it studies the structure of Clause and
compound sentences and it shows their impact in forming Sourit Yousef.
The study followed the comprehensive approach. I used the
descriptive approach as well as the structural one for the Clause and
compound sentences in its three forms ; positive negative and the tag
questions . All of these were shown by examples from the verses.
One of the most important conclusions that I reached is that the
linguistics had studied clause and compound sentences since long time ago.
Clause is considered areference Sentence functioning as an agent for the
subject. The sentences in Sourit Yousef varried between sentences that begin
with nouns and sentences that begin with verbs .
It formed abasic element for the dialogue and story telling sequence ,
besides building the characters . So the impact varried to reveal the nature of
each character and the chronological side
