Abstract
This study aimed at exploring the syntactical components of the Arabic sentence in Surat Al-Baqara and matching it with the grammatical rule or deviating from it, therefore I conducted an applied study on Surat Al-Baqara. What motivated me to choose this study is the absence of an previous studies, which shows the format of the Arabic sentence in Surat Al-Baqara, despite that, there is a study which explains the structural language of Surat and Ashoaraa as a parallel study. This study shed the light on the phonetic side more than the grammatical one; which comprised the predicative, compositional and conditional sentences and displayed them in a regular manner. I used the accumulative approach in this study benefiting from the descriptive approach in identifying the forms of the sentence and its types, and counting the number of times it was mentioned in the Surah. Furthermore, I used the analytical approach in detecting the components of the sentence and displaying its grammatical functions and clarifying the relations between them. The results of the study are: Using the verbal sentence extensively, where the types were varied and extensively used, it was also mentioned in the Surah more than the nominal sentence due to the fact that the verb indicates consistency, unlike the nominal sentence, which indicates permanence. Moreover, the Al-Baqara is a sentence of creed, which entails Jihad and greatness, where forbidden and command verbs are most common.in addihion Using the predicative sentence more than using the compositional and conditional sentences, where the format of the sentence is compatible with the grammatical rule, and Surat Al-Baqara is free from verbal assertion. other results are Wishful thinking was not mentioned by using the phrase ( I hope), but it was mentioned in other forms such as: (I would, what if, they wish, they wish for it).and Deviating the compositional methods from their original meaning to other meanings which match the context of the Aya. The study do recommend conducting linguistic and grammatical studies on other Soar in the Holy Koran.
