Abstract
Physical Phonetics deals with the physical aspects of the phoneme which is the smallest segmented unit of sound employed to give clear contrasts between utterances . This study is intended to highlight the physical aspect of the language by studying the substantial dimensions of the phoneme which appears in vibrations and sound waves and their characteristics. The importance of the study comes from the fact that most of previous studies didn't penetrate into of the physical phonetics, and the second aim is to develop the Arabic phonetics through modern scientific approaches. This study focused on the physical analysis of the language, in order to show the physical characteristics, and demystify some unknowe aspects which are not easily observed, through a variety of audio programs, such as: program (Pratt) and program (Audacity Beta) and software (Speech Filing System) and the(Speech Analyzer) This study concluded that a number of findings related to the physical analysis of the sound, as revealed by analyzing the voice of the movement (AL-fatha) in the Arabic language is the longest of all the movements. As it turns out that also seems severe aphasia due to suspension of acoustic vibrations which form the wave. The discontinuity of the curve of whispering sound implies the non movements of the two vocal cords. As it turns out that the sounds are also affected by other sounds. The results of this study also distinguish between the sounds of high tide in terms of time as well as the size of the high density areas in the voice of the tides. This kind of research is in its early stages of development and further investigations are nedded to reveal the features of the Arabic language.
